Pros

I don’t have a single good thing to say.

Cons

Incredibly misleading hiring practices and compensation structure. You will be forced into whatever compensation structure they want you in. You will get a different answer from every person you speak to in the company. They expect you to work without compensation until you reach certain sales quotas. If you say something your manager doesn’t like expect to get a call from their president. Need I say more?

First and foremost: we are not engaging in a pyramid scheme, and hate that you feel that way. Rather than a negative, I believe that me calling to discuss compensation reinforces how seriously we take making sure people are paid correctly. We do appreciate your feedback though. We are constantly looking to improve and making sure that people aren't speaking over you and are communicating a consistent message is extremely important. We'll reinforce that to our team. Please feel free to email me directly if you'd like to discuss further: rj@spoton.com

Pros

Robust benefits package that covers all the essentials: health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). They also offer an unlimited PTO policy, which is a great perk depending on how you prefer to manage your work-life balance.

Cons

Where do I begin? The product itself is unreliable and faulty, which means you are constantly dealing with angry customers. When you combine an unstable product with inept leadership, it's easy to see why the company struggles with profitability. There is zero culture here (at least in my department), and managers provide a severe lack of training. New employees are routinely thrown into situations they aren't prepared for, yet leadership wastes no time lambasting you when things go wrong. Because of this, morale is incredibly low and turnover is very high. Their internal processes are deeply flawed, and leadership has no intention of fixing them. It is simply too much work and unnecessary stress for the pay. I would stay far away from this company.
