Pros

- Flexible workplace environment, remote with the option to work in an office if you live by one - Everyone is friendly and a pleasure to talk to - Unlimited PTO

Cons

Things were great for a while, but things took a turn for the worst. The company has been going through growing pains for a while now after a huge boom during the pandemic and it seems we are at a melting point. It's been over a year of being hopeful and it's clear that nobody knows what they are doing. There truly is no sense of direction, so people are all scrambling to feel like they are important, but everyone is on different wavelengths so it is absolute cacophony. This chaos cascades down to our sellers, who are given sloppy guidance and pulled in multiple directions. This new crop of leadership feels so distant and foreign, which is not at all what it was like prior to 2024. They love to sugarcoat things and pretend like everything is okay, meanwhile people have been leaving in mass, including those in upper management. They lie and tell us that "they hear our feedback" and then give us "exciting news" that nobody asked for while ignoring the real issues like low pay, lack of career growth opportunities, and unrealistic workloads. There is no way to voice how we feel which is why I have turned to Glassdoor in hopes to be seen and also warn others of the reality of the business right now.

Pros

This is the best company culture, and I think everything else flows from it: the possibility of new projects, the work-life balance, the benefits. Sprout invests in its people, from generous PTO and company-wide R&R Days to meeting-free focus days. The benefits package is pretty comprehensive including medical, vision and dental plans, 16 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents, a 401(k) with company match, ESPP, and real remote work (you receive a stipends for your home office) with joining the whole team in Chicago a couple times a year. On the growth side, feedback is both expected and encouraged, informally and formally. I've been really happy here.

Cons

Compensation does trend below market average for the industry, but personally, the overall benefits package and culture help offset that.

Pros

The people at the IC level are great. Office perks and lifestyle stipend are nice.

Cons

Career growth is non existent unless you are close with the right people. Turnover is very bad, had multiple managers each year. A lot of the folks who have been at the company for a long time have dipped recently and the culture is falling apart quickly. Communication standards are very bad from top to bottom. Poorly behaved leaders are not held accountable.
