Pros
Spursol sets the standard by which I compare other companies.
Employee-centric to the core, empathetic leadership, and motivated colleagues. Leadership is truly down-to-earth; Farrukh and Bilal are both very approachable.
Biannual appraisal until you reach a certain salary threshold. Gave everyone a great raise during the inflation crisis of 2023.
The company has a tough recruitment process but if you pass, it pays off in dividends. The kind of culture and team-building Spursol promotes is second to none, which is evident by their higher than average employee retention.
Great team events with no expense spared.
Cons
Although they try to only hire the best employees, this can create bias. Even though this isn't set in stone, they only want to hire people from the top universities, which means 90% of candidates are automatically excluded from the recruitment pool.
Salaries for non-technical resources are not all that competitive, especially among IT export product-based companies.
Lots of bureaucratic processes. A lot of your time may be spent filling out KPI documents.
During my tenure, it felt like every month there was a new focus; most things were left half-baked before we were expected to move on to the next big thing. Processes and tools need to be more aligned.
