Pros
My experience at Stack Builders here in Spain has been amazing so far. When I say "caring" I mean it in every sense of the word: care for their coworkers, care for the work they do, care for the company, care for the community, and I could keep going. I've only had great experiences with everyone I've had the chance to work with during my time at the company. The company fosters their workers and offer us the opportunities we need to keep growing as professionals. We get the chance to work in a lot of different things besides our projects: writing blog posts (technical or otherwise), giving talks at conferences (or in our own hosted events), open-source development, internal trainings, and more. The Spain team is 100% remote which is a big plus. Despite that, we still gather from time to time in a coworking space to share some fun times together!
Cons
The only thing to consider in this regard is that we enter and leave a tad later than most companies here in Spain. We usually work from 10 AM to 7 PM, since that way we can have more overlapping time with the Ecuador team and the clients (most of them US-based). It's still perfectly reasonable, and flexible enough in case something personal comes up in those working hours.
