Small organization with strong communication skills. Concerns or causes that are important to individual employees are treated as important to the team. As the agency is small, any changes in personnel are felt by all team members in a significant way.

I have worked at Steps For Change since July of 2017. Steps For Change has a strong and collaborative team that is constantly working to learn and grow by incorporating current research into our work. In the past I have worked places where my opinions were not taken into consideration and overlooked. At Steps For Change, I feel valued as a member of the team and any opinions I are valued and discussed. Not to mention working with our clientele is a fun and sometimes challenging experience.

As most of our clientele are in school during the day, it does require us to meet with them outside of school hours which can make later evenings... but then you don't have to wake up super early either :). Also due to the clientele we work with, there is a significant amount of paperwork to complete as we need to continually report on progress to the court.
