Pros
The office is within walking distance of the Clark Quay MRT. There was an opportunity to interact with many expats so the diversity of people made the job interesting. It was a satisfying feeling helping people understand their insurance and get their claims approved.
Cons
Incompetent management that wasn't truthful in the interview process about the insurance exam requirements. They advertised for client service but failed to mention that a person must take 6 insurance exams on their own time. It was a pretty big thing to leave out. Management was also cocky and rude. Routinely made fun of me for being overweight and when asking questions about something I didn't understand I'd get the response "My time is worth 1,000 dollars an hour, is your question really that important?"
