Pros
- Local office employees look out for one another. - Good health and related benefits. - WFH flexible environment. - Relatively hands-off locally allowing for lower stress environments that would otherwise be caused by micromanaging.
Cons
- Norway (HQ) calls all the shots and they're doing everything possible to make sure morale is very low everywhere outside of Norway. - HQ is rather condescending and off-putting when it comes to addressing concerns from local offices. - Salaries are not reflective of cost of living inflation nor actual performance. - HQ will find any way possible to shave dollars from employees to save every little bit at EOY bottom line. - Company is not open to investing in development that would lead to more sales and better products. Instead they expect sales, CST, operations, IT, and R&D to all pick up the slack to ensure clients don't leave which only delays the inevitable of a massive client exodus. - Allowing HQ to have all decision control for pretty much everything leads to incredibly low morale which then leads to lower quality of work as they employee base is unhappy.
