Pros
I can talk directly with our CTO and my manager without stress. When I bring up problems I’m facing, they genuinely listen and try hard to help. Our team shares process, ideas, tools, and important updates openly between engineers, PMs, and founders. We also have bi-weekly company-wide syncs where each department shares progress, so everything stays transparent. HR and engineering managers keep improving the performance review process. People are honest, respectful, and polite to each other.
Cons
Compensation is the main area I’d like to see improved. I understand there are local market constraints, and I’ve heard my salary is among the top in Taiwan within the company. As the company continues to grow, having clearer compensation bands and regular market calibration would make rewards feel more aligned with impact and responsibilities.
