Pros

The pros were that the prime contract was with Los Alamos and I gained great experience there.

Cons

The cons are that management is severely lacking. It’s actually comical my SMSI “manager” was in charge or performance reviews and merit increases considering we spoke once a year, and he had no idea what I do on project or actual job function. Regardless of glowing reviews, my manager and SMSI would do everything possible to suppress my compensation while their bill rate continued to increase 7% each year. It’s truly a sham where the employee is nickel and and dimed
