      The best thing is the freedom. If I need to go to a doctors appointment with the missus, I just schedule it and go. I don't have a lot of oversight and I like that.

      Pros

      It is rewarding to work with all of the schools and districts in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, and Kansas matching needs-based curriculum available from various publishers.

      Cons

      You work on a contract-basis for commissions only. You need to pay all of your own benefits and out of pocket expenses. If the contracts are sole-source then it is worth it. However, if there are other area distributors, then it is not worth the time and effort.
