Pros

I have been an attorney at SLG for several years now, and it has been everything that I could have asked for not only to be a flourishing attorney, but as a genuinely enjoyable, dynamic, friendly, and team-oriented work environment, which is very difficult to find in the legal industry. It is a rare and beautiful environment in that we advise clients on complex and mentally stimulating projects and are given (and encouraged to seize) opportunities for more advanced work that would otherwise take years to have exposure to at other firms, while still maintaining a healthy work-life balance. SLG encourages and honors this work style and respects our personal lives, while of course still expecting the delivery of elite counsel and client service. One of SLG's core values is to mentor its attorneys and foster their growth and evolution to be the best versions of themselves and follow whichever professional path as an attorney they may desire, including growing and managing one's own book of business. In my experience, there is no limit of what you can achieve here if you're willing to seize the opportunities and put in the work. SLG is a premier boutique business transactional and litigation firm and aims to support its attorneys as it continues to expand and solidify its already strong presence in the legal industry across multiple states. The compensation is solid and commensurate with the firm's expectations and work style.

Cons

No cons come to mind. I have only had positive experiences with SLG. As I read the few negative reviews of SLG, I have to say it comes at big surprise and they are inconsistent with my several years of experience here.

Pros

I’ve had a really great experience working here, and I’ve been here for almost 7 years. The people are supportive, hardworking, and genuinely easy to work with, and leadership is approachable and respectful. It’s definitely a fast-paced environment, but it still feels organized and team-oriented, and you’re trusted to do your job without being micromanaged. I also really appreciate the work-life balance. Everyone understands that life happens, and there’s a level of flexibility and support here that honestly makes a huge difference. What really stands out to me is the people. This team truly cares. The support is real, and it genuinely feels like a family. You’re surrounded by people who want to see you succeed, and if you’re having a tough day or need help, someone is always willing to step in and support you. I also love being part of a company that continues to grow. It’s exciting to watch everything build and evolve, and I honestly feel lucky to be a part of it. You can see the progress over time, you feel like your work matters, and it’s motivating to be around people who are working toward the same goals. Hard work is noticed and recognized, and there’s a lot of opportunity to learn, take ownership of projects, and grow, especially if you’re someone who likes staying busy and being involved in different things. On top of that, I feel like I can fully be myself here, which says a lot about the culture. Overall, it’s a really great place to work with great people and strong leadership.

Cons

I can't think of any cons.
