Pros
Even in a short time, I made some very strong connections with some amazing people. I had very little support so I ended up learning a ton very quickly.
Cons
The fear is palpable. Management would be very hot and cold with people and it showed. Everyone feels like the ship is sinking but there are no life preservers. The company is struggling financially but struggling with morale most of all. We were provided very little support from management with lightning-fast turnaround expectations. They have little to no regard for regular employees and are stuck in the past. Technology and programs are not accepted by most higher-ups and won't make data-driven decisions. This year has consisted of more layoffs than I could count and even more fear of thinking you're next. Mental health has been at an all-time low for the majority of people. People disregard factual information with what they want 90% of the time. Some managers disregard their subordinates but then repremand them even when they have no guidance. Any benefits and perks we previously had were slowly stripped away. It feels like they're taking it away to force everyone to quit so they don't have to pay anyone. It feels very hostile.
