Pros
Travel across the country, new airspaces and geography make for a fun challenge. Culture amongst the workers in the hangar is like a family. Decent pay for starting out. Good benefits.
Cons
Hostile management frequently will ask you to fly in dangerous and outright illegal conditions. Pilots are heavily scrutinized even when doing exactly as asked, particularly the Stationair pilots who have been referred to as "temps". No opportunities to upgrade from the Stationair. 2 week on 1 week off schedule. Low per-diem, low hotel budget. No chief pilot, which is part of why management can be so pushy. No safety program despite having a fatal crash two years ago. The same conditions that led to this crash still exist today. No effort has been made to improve safety after the crash.
