Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

SureFire local is filled with unprofessionalism. You better have a good understanding of your bonuses because they will try to keep you from getting the money you earned due to their constantly changing bonus structure. They do a lot of shady things to keep up appearances and not make the numbers look as bad as they actually are. Don’t bother pointing out bugs in the platform because you will be gaslighted by the CTO and told you’re doing it wrong while she frantically gets her team to drop what they are doing and fix the issue then come back to you and tell you that it works on her computer. Every week it’s just a race to see who can suck up to the CEO the most and get his favor and if something goes wrong in one department, blame is thrown over to another and it turns into a yelling match.

I'm sorry you didn't have a positive experience at Surefire. As we adjust for our recent growth we've made changes to our customer engagement model and thus have also changed our incentive programs to give Account Managers greater ability to be bonused based on performance. Our new incentive plans offer monthly measurements and payouts and give AMs significant opportunity to earn more than 100% of target incentive.

Pros

Aggressive compensation structure can be lucrative when the deals are falling. Great lower-level management my entire time with the company.

Cons

Poor customer reviews made it increasingly difficult to get deals across the line - good reps were able to combat it for a while, but by the end of my tenure, there was usually nothing you could do if prospect did research. This paired with the ultra-high-input-volume model of sales upper-management began pushing promoted accelerated burnout for reps.
