The people at Switchshop are truly lovely to work with and as a company have a very good support system.
Management ensure you keep up with your training and are very hot on it. They actively encourage training and are open to employee ideas.
The three owners, Mike, James and Tom are great and will always help you when you need it, both professionally and personally.
Despite being in sales, which can be a very competitive environment, there's a real sense of teamwork and everyone looks after each other. There is healthy competition.
They actively encourage remote workers to go to their headquarters in Stevenage and have quite a few things going on in the office. They also have a Christmas party and BBQ each year so everyone can catch up with each other. Despite being remote, I feel very included and part of the team.
Cons
It may be worth considering an office in Luton or Stevenage. This would make it more accessible to prospective employees who do not have cars and would broaden the talent pool.
