Pros

The positives of working at Sydney water include a comparatively good salary in comparison to other similar job roles (atleast on first impression). Additionally the facilities are nice and the RDO days are nice to enjoy.

Cons

* Tenured staff can make new starters feel alienated as many of the staff have been at the company for 10+ years * Break times are very limited and every deviation outside of the allocated break times will result in a message, email or even a catch up with your manager questioning why you went outside of this allowance. Even after advising that you had to use the bathroom you will gently be reminded that this is why you have your 2 (10-15 minute breaks 3 hours apart for) * Your team leader or even support will generally not be available to assist you and instead you will have a frustrated customer on the phone whilst you wait on queue for your team leader to assist you. * Management/Team leaders are constantly being shuffled around into other positions due to the limited progression opportunities, your team leader could be in the same role as you several weeks later. * Your acceptance in the company and being a good fit for the company largely depends on your personality. * Management micromanage every aspect of your role and can be overbearing

Pros

9 Day fortnight Work/life balance Easy to take time off If you have a good manger they can mentor and develop you to where you want to be

Cons

If you are in team where you have bad manager it is hard to progress and grow. Any family or husband and wives working at the company need to be in completely different divisions to get rid of negative conflict of interest tactics.
