Pros
The preset coursework was great. There wasn't a lot of thinking what would be best for the Student. Homework Support would be helpful to the students but it was for a limited amount of time. The hours were flexible.
Cons
You can't focus on what you feel the student needs, there is an emphasis to stay on the coursework assigned. It is expensive for the parents and they pay you little. On average, you have two students which sylvan charges $50 per student. However, I was getting paid 16/ hour and company was profiting from the rest. Also there are a lot of behavior problems.
