Pros
I just put in my notice at Symmetry so that I can continue focusing on my private practice, so as of next week I will no longer be employed by them. I've worked at their Golden location for over a year, and have almost a decade of working as a therapist in the industry. The pros of working for Symmetry vastly outweigh the cons, which is usually the opposite of what you hear from employees at any level in most industries. They offer opportunities for PTO, benefits, and employment advances, all of which were completely unheard of in the service industry up until recently. They offer education stipends and will pay for your professional development with and outside of the company. The most telling thing about Symmetry is how they showed up for their employees during the COVID shutdown. They had our welfare in their thoughts every step of the way, and wasted no time to make sure we were taken care of during these difficult times I think their actions during times of crisis say more than words ever could. Not to mention, I've experienced a community of people here that I hope to have in my life forever. This is an excellent company for new graduates or for veterans who need to rekindle their love for their practice.
Cons
Sometimes change can happen very fast, but that is the nature of change. Sometimes it can feel like your hand is being held.
