      Pros

      You'll definitely grow a lot mentally because this job is more mental work than anything. You get what you put in and everyone is very encouraging and willing to help and answer any of your questions. Also, the pitch they teach you has good structure along with the law of averages they tell you to go by.

      Cons

      As a distributor, you are doing door to door sales, working outside from 2 to 8, on commission. Even if you get promoted to leadership, you're still on the field and can't progress until you get people on your team that are as good as you but most people quit so you're stuck so however long that takes. Your first paycheck is in 3 weeks and it's only commission so if you had a bad week, you wont get paid. The hours are also very long (in the office at 11 am, lunch from 1 to 2 pm, outside from 2 to 8 pm and back at the office at 9 to 9:30/10). I also didn't like that they made it seem like the people who quit are losers working for someone else the rest of their lives and not happy. Some people are happy with that life and that's okay. Stability is important to most people.

      Our team is glad that you were able to take away some teaching tools away from your life during your time with us. However, our team is not performing door-to-door sales and our compensation plan is not strictly commission. We offer a base salary plus performance-based commission as an incentive to push yourself. The Synergy Management career path was laid out for you during your interview process, and we explained that this position took a lot of hard work and dedication. Our team would never refer to anyone as a “loser” and encourage everyone to work in a field that makes them happy. No one on this team “brainwashes” anyone into believing anything. Success takes time, and our leaders explained that in order to get the most out of this opportunity it would take about 6-12 months. We know that the path to success is different for everyone and that a career with Synergy Management is not the normal cookie cutter position.
