Pros
The concept seems to be ambitious and exciting. There is a prisoner camaraderie between co-workers. Still friends with many people after leaving.
Cons
The core group of managers are yes-people with very little scientific knowledge and no management experience. It's a sort of typical startup mentality where they make fantastical promises to the CEO and investors, then berate employees to meet those goals. People with real scientific experience are pushed out quickly because they don't comply with unrealistic expectations. People who are new to the industry leave quickly because there are better opportunities to learn and advance your career. No training is provided and people are discouraged from learning new skills outside of their job description. Typical turn around time is less than a year. It's not clear if the CEO even realizes how badly the company is run because he doesn't have pharma or biotech education.
