- Extremely long hours and being forced to work 'sales events' in which you have absolutely no excuse to miss working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Say goodbye to work/life balance.
- Being consistently spoken to in a disrespectful and belittling way by almost every 'manager'. You would be treated with more respect in prison. Dodging around their delicate egos is an ongoing battle.
- Every year the pay plan gets smaller and smaller. You have to sell more meaningless, rip off products to customers in order to earn a half-decent wage to reflect the hours and effort put into the job.
- School-style telling offs from senior management who treat sales execs like they are below them and don't deserve the same respect as them or customers. Taking every opportunity to make you feel insignificant.
- Members of staff from other departments, from older generations, acting like whiney toddlers when asked to carry out their job.
- Miserable and depressing morning meetings which deflate you for the entire day, resembling the same atmosphere as a murder trial.
- Terrible people skills. Very toxic and tense environment. Members of staff who have narcissistic personalities and bully others aren't pulled up on this because they thrive.
- Favouritism. On a very high scale. If you aren't trying to be best friends with people you can forget them carrying out their job for you.
- Wasting huge amounts of time on cars coming back with issues as they were not properly prepared by the relevant team. The customers blame you, so do the managers.
- Staff turnover is huge. The only members of staff who remain in the company for more than 4 years are usually narcissistic, or they have worked there so long they are unable to do anything else. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
