Pros

Calm environment (unless your customer facing, whereas I was answering emails). Good for people who like to keep to themselves at work like myself because the team I was assigned to commuted to different TAFE campuses

Cons

Salary is quite good until you realise it's a package rate and includes super... so evens out to be just average I don't know if it's because TAFE is an educational institution but management treats TAFE workers as if they are students and they are the teachers... e.g. a lot of managers micro-manage you make it well known who their favourites are. Not many opportunities to move upwards but strangely plenty of opportunities to move horizontally.

Worst management. Very cliquey place.
