The 3 years working with Tanco I've observed that their one of last company that treat a employees like a person not a number also willing to have on site training for a good career as a certified welder repair maintenance storage tanks and learn how to build new above ground storage tanks. They also try to keep their employees close to home if possible. Great bonus program if the job is finish injury and incident free and under budget.
Cons
The only cons I feel is that you will have to wait 90 day for Insurance and paid holiday and also wait 1 year to contribute to the 401(k) plan. Which overall is that bad when you think of it..

We’re so glad that you’re happy at TANCO Engineering! Our dedication is what sets us apart; we care about our employees. As for our senior leadership and management, we’re always looking to evaluate and improve. We value and consider all feedback and will continue to find ways to improve.
Tanco's management is very supportive and helpful to their employees. They do not micromanage the employees and are open to opportunities for improvement. They are upbeat and supportive of a "fun" atmosphere, as long as the work is being done right. They are very highly supportive of work/life balance. The employees are all friendly and easy to work with. The foreman and field employees are loyal and hard working.
Cons
Some of the employees are resistant to change, which makes the job frustrating at times, but what job isn't sometimes frustrating? Generally, there's not much negative to say about Tanco.
