Management cared about employees and encouraged career development.

Contract based work. Had to ensure the company won contracts.

I was given a lot of freedom, my supervisors did not hoover over me and trusted me to take care of my clients.

With the down-turn in government funding the company attitude seemed to go into survival at any cost mode. At the end of my contract I was not reimbursed for approved travel expenses and was not compensated for an international move although I had been upon my hire.
