Pros

The ability to work from home was nice while it lasted. My productivity and performance was stellar and I felt like I had a positive work life balance. PTO is easy to request. Weekly coachings to improve performance. Mental health resources are the best part of the job.

Cons

Being transitioned to work from site even when performance is higher from home. Management is in CONSTANT Flux. Nobody is ever on the same page. They micromanage like nobody's business. They will give out performance hints like candy. PTO is incredibly slow to build. When management falls short they will rely on their team members to pick up the slack for them. Pay increases come at a whopping $0.25 and do not increase from that. You cannot fail to be productive for even a few minutes, they watch everything you do. If there's no work to do, you better find some before you end up with another performance hint. If your team does poorly, everyone will suffer the consequences. If you have a year of good performance, and you miss the mark for maybe a few days, expect to pay for that. You will be treated like you're incompetent and likely be given a hint depending on the metric. You will also be punished and go unpaid if you encounter network issues. Paycheck problems are a frequent occurrence. It's a pain getting them corrected and most often results in delays getting your check. Expect that paycheck issues will come with the territory. OT is not offered on any consistent basis. The job itself can be very tedious and detrimental to your mental health so consider that before applying. There's opportunities to move up because the managers are constantly quitting. Having 4 managers over 2 months or no manager at all can happen. The pay is not worth the job you're asked to do.

Pros

Company culture is very relaxed and laid back. The people who work here build some of the best products for the biggest clients in the world. Bar-none, I’ve never worked with more intelligent and passionate people ever. There is pride in efficiency, quality, and so much more.

Cons

Management is very… out of touch? Not at their own fault to be clear, but out of business processes. It’s difficult for them to grow and promote employees because they’re constantly shifted from one team to the next. The pay is “Meh” at best, and nowhere near the industry standard, but it is safe.
