The newly minted “Chiefs” (yes, in 2024 that’s the title they gave themselves and should be indicative of how they view DEI and belonging…), are a bunch of ideas people who don’t actually know how to do much more than sell sell sell. Their salaries continued to rise even as people were summarily laid off.
All that matters is sales and “the brand”. Little to no attention is paid to operationalizing any “ideas” or accurately assessing capacity to do good work in the first place.
All the systems and structures that existed to protect staff’s safety are gone (“cost-savings”, of course) so no, management relationships are NOT how they are described in the “Why Work Here”. There’s actually no recourse for poor management and no accountability for anyone on the Management Team (Partners) and above. In fact, the MT and “Chiefs” are comprised of some of the most problematic managers you will ever work for.
