Pros

-great downtown Missoula location on the river -a friendly, talented, tight-knit team -you work with clients who are down to earth and have AWESOME businesses -casual office setting (dog-friendly, no dress code, no clock punching) -endless ability for personal growth as well as company growth -opportunity for work travel whether it be for industry conferences or to visit clients and experience the product/tour that they offer -15 days PTO/year -giving back through volunteer work around the local community -seasonal company retreats which include adventure travel such as white water rafting or skiing -you get a laptop of your choice to use (MacBook or PC) -gym reimbursement -a CEO who is down to earth, very driven and dedicated, and an open listener to his employees for the betterment of the team and the big picture At TOMIS, employees take pride in their work and are rewarded for their hard work. It is not a job where you have to be at your desk from 9-5, but more so, there is a communal sense of being all in this together, carry your weight/get your work done and take pride in the work that you do. It is a nice mix of a casual, yet fast-paced/sense of urgency type of atmosphere. It is an exciting time to be a part of the team and I am very thankful to work for a company like TOMIS.

Pros

-For a SMB sales role, they offer an above average base salary. -TOMIS has a good company culture focused on the outdoors, and much of the staff shares similar interests. There are a couple of retreats each year and somewhat frequent company events. -If you have an emergency or want to work from home every now and then, it's generally acceptable. -You'll generally never take work home with you. Once you log off for the day, you wont be expected to respond to calls or emails. -401k match after 6 months, decent benefits and perks

Cons

-The commission plan leaves a lot to be desired considering the industry average for SaaS is 10-20%. You receive absolutely nothing on services you sell (which is the bulk of revenue). -Allocation of inbound vs outbound leads gets muddy at times. -The prescribed solution for a slow week or month is almost always just more CRM activity. -While TOMIS has a flexible culture and structure, the sales team is expected to be in-office from 9-5 every day while other employees work from home or come in late and leave early. -It's high pace and high pressure at times. You feel as if you can't (or shouldn't) attend midday company events when you could be working.
