Pros

I've been working for TMPR for over 7 years and its been a wonderful organization to work and grow with. Logistics and Transportation is not an easy field - it is very high pace and demanding however when you're working with an organization that truly values safety and with the culture they foster it makes it wonderful to come to work. It has great benefits and a beautiful office space. Organization is lean so you work a lot closer to ELT/SLT than you would at any large corporation. I would describe it as a small company where the CEO still knows your name but a large company with the amazing benefits and emphasis on continuous improvement.

Cons

Logistics and Transportation industry is tough - its demanding. Being a lean organization it can be overwhelming at times but you are never alone in that boat, if one team is tight another team is right along there with you. Along with the lean organization - upward mobility may not be so easy, there are people who have decades of tenure (as its a great organization to work with) so upward movement can be limited, however there are usually plenty of lateral moves which make you a more desirable candidate for any position.

Pros

Great culture Good bonus structure dependent on company performance Growth opportunity if you work hard and make connections with other departments

Cons

Growth opportunity can be limited as this is a lean company Some holiday hours are required Poor performers are not addressed quickly enough forcing high performers to take on heavier workload at times

Pros

I really enjoy working with my direct team. We may be small, but we’re highly capable, focused on getting things done, and always make sure to keep our partners well-informed. It’s a supportive group where collaboration and follow-through make a big difference.

Cons

The culture was a shock to me. I’ve always been trained that leadership means leading by example, but that isn’t the case here. Some managers and supervisors will “reply all” to call out mistakes in a way that feels harsh and unconstructive—sometimes even masking the message with a smiley emoji. There’s no guidance on how to fix the issue, no context on what’s been done before, and no real support offered. If something goes wrong, the reaction tends to be overblown, but no corrective action or resolution follows. Many “suggestions” or “great ideas” are floated, but they rarely turn into actual solutions. Instead, they’re brought up once and then never mentioned again.
