Pros

If you just finished school and you want to stay abroad for a bit it works. They offer you a room and help you in the first days to set everything.

Cons

After you started working Teleperformance pretty much does not care about you at all. Most of the things promised never happen (e.g. language course). After a while you realize that the motto "we are a people company" has pretty much nothing to do with teleperformace. The salary is incorrect and to get the money you deserve you need to run after for month. In the end you will not get it. My payslips have been wrong for the last 4 months. Pretty much everybody of the management and supervisors is more or less not competent at all. People in this company love to make promises that will never be kept. The job itself is - once again - for people that want to stay in Portugal for a couple of month. If you are a real expat, avoid it. It is not at all about competences. Quantity over quality in everything. And the chances of actually growing n this company are about 0 if you are a self-thinking individuum. An other issue is that they pay people doing the same job different reg. nationalities. Who can this be a people company?

Calls are back to back and you have to meet all metrics.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
