Pros
Work from home, pay for the program I was on is okay at best only because it’s possibly the least aggressive customer base a company can have. The recruiter was very thorough and nice.
Cons
Unfortunately the cons are big. I have some experience dealing with remote team leads as well as mangers in general (brick & mortar). Although our program is one of the least aggressive, if we have a team lead who shows nothing pertaining to building morale amongs a host of other neglects; this makes the job feel horrible. We all know work can big you down and you feel monotonous many days. This is where the TL is supposed to use the methods of communication provided to us making us a bit more happier to be there. The TL was barely there, even when she was there. If you have an emergency and take the action plan/point. You are still made to make up the day in your off day. This is not flexibility. Plus, they tell you last minute you’ll be working OT. Trying to squeeze as much of that $12 work from you as much as possible. Again, this would have not been an issue for me if I had a TL who shows she actually cares. Do the TL’s even get watched for things like this? Are we able to review our TL’s? No. If we were able to, they never made this clear which is more of a red flag. If there’s a team chat pod and we are asking questions, why should it take a TL almost 30 minutes to respond? That’s even if she responded at all. What kind of circus are you all running? If most of the companies knew what went on here, I’m sure TP would have less programs.
