Stressful work for little pay and still made to feel like you aren’t doing enough. My manager had no idea how to motivate the team and simply rolled out team stats with no context or thought to delivery. The structure feels like a call centre environment and as such any time away from your desk is strictly monitored. The team is micromanaged at every task throughout everyday and it creates a lack of trust and unhealthy working relationship with your line manager. You are very much a cog in a wheel with little room for personality in this business and promotion doesn’t appear to be given on merit. You will however, be allocated tasks based on your capability, regardless of your pay grade. I have no idea why some fantastic people continue to work here and I regret staying as long as I did. I started to lose confidence in my own abilities and gained very few transferrable skills. Overall, a negative experience.
