Pros
This job is great for those who enjoy working with the public. Co-workers are great. The pay is okay but you recieve a $1500-$3000 bonus before Christmas. This depending on your performance review. Also, the TSA has an alliance with universities to offer 70% tuition discount, up to a master’s.
Cons
You will get terminated if you are late or absent too many times. If you call out once a month, that is a problem. If management doesn’t like you, there is even a bigger problem. You will have to travel to Georgia for 2 weeks during the training program. If you have kids or another job, this will be a problem for some.
