Pros
It is pretty good pay for a job that is non-skilled labor. Very good amount of Leave. Sick Leave can be scheduled for doctor, dentist etc. appointment. Great health/vision/dental benefits with lots of companies to choose from. Good job if you are a people person.
Cons
Current state of government affairs has led to no pay raises, payment date uncertainty (during government shutdown). You work holidays and weekends unless you have good seniority. Not much upward mobility.
