Within TUI we have a lot of focus on personal and career development, from our regular company-wide “Learning Weeks” to the comprehensive range of online learning opportunities (details of these can be found on the Smile Intranet). We also use the Smile Intranet to advertise opportunities both within the UK and our global opportunities.
We have recently launched a new focus on agile working at TUI, to enable colleagues to work in the best way for them and their wider team (be that working at the office or elsewhere). Alongside this initiative we already offer a number of different options when travelling to the Luton offices. This includes car sharing opportunities and discounted train travel (with a free shuttle bus from the train station and our offices).
We encourage colleagues to feedback views and any concerns they may have through a number of internal channels. One way is to become a representative on our Colleague Engagement Forum (CEF) or share your views with your CEF representative. We have also recently introduced regular “Cuppa and Chats” with our Board Directors and Senior Management, an informal way to discuss and raise any concerns.
