Pros

You'll get to work on some neat technology with video and data.

Cons

The management team is less of a team and more of a one man show, and if you're not on the same page, you're out. There is a complete lack of coherent strategic planning resulting in abrupt 90 degree turns with little or no warning. There is very little communication between members of the team which leads to a lot of rework. The CEO is unwilling to accept much constructive feedback constantly undermining the expertise of his staff.

Pros

Daily work varies drastically, in a good way. As a startup, you have the potential to be exposed to every part of the business, and multiple departments. I was fortunate enough to get in fresh out of my undergrad degree, and touched everything from the sales/marketing side to QA and some development. The management at TVPage supported me in my goals and I can honestly say that I would not be in the tech industry without the kind support and "nudging" of several key team members!! Also, the fact that an unnamed team member brews amazing craft beer that he shares with the team doesn't hurt!!

Cons

Startups aren't for everyone; there's a certain personality that thrives in this type of environment. Either you get up, do your job (very well), and constantly learn and apply newly acquired skills - if this doesn't sound like you, you're not going to do well in any startup. Long hours and lower compensation is typical, though this is the norm with almost any earlier phase startup.
