Pros
A Publisher's Best Friend..who happens to be an algorithmic powered tech company. The algorithm performs as promised and the products are built around harnessing the algorithm in a variety of ways which are then packaged in various free publisher products. The company has pivoted it's direction to be not only a content recommendation provider but a platform for publishers to leverage all the free products we've developed to overcome the obstacles of modern day publishers. The sheer fact that Taboola sees 1 billion page views a day and engages millions of people around the world daily is exciting. I take pride in the fact that I am apart of the largest content recommendation provider in the world, who sees over 86% of all desktop traffic; second to only Google. I definitely sip the ol Kool-Aide over here, which resides in the large fully stocked kitchen that feeds the couple hundred of us daily. We also have an amazing catered lunch every Friday which consists of a variety of nyc hot spot lunches. On top of the good food, and socializing with our co-workers/friends we're also casually de-briefed by the top execs and vps of Taboola on all the exciting goals. I've never been apart of such a transparent company that allows you to truly understand how the entire company works cohesively to achieve the bigger goals.
Cons
The growth is massive and it's exciting yet terrifying at the same time. Some processes are not fully figured out, but it's tough to figure out everything in an ever evolving industry that requires you to continually evolve to provide the best possible product/service to our clients. Some of the other cons revolve around standard growing pains a fast growing 'start-up' endures, so I won't complain about some of the minor temporary hiccups.
