Pros
- The easiest hiring process ever. I was contacted by a recruiter and they hired me immediately after I sent them a link to my github (this was not an impressive github at all, it had one school project on it from years ago). So in terms of getting the job, it was very quick and efficient and I was hired one week after initially being contacted by a recruiter - Ever since I started working 7 months ago, payments have always been on time and reliable - My recruiter is super nice and always willing to help me with whatever I might need to this day - I got hired for a fully remote position with no requirements to ever come into an office TLDR: super easy to get hired and get paid straight away
Cons
- The pay is so incredibly low compared to others in the field. I make $30 an hour/40 hours a week. Other developers I contract with everyday are making double what I make for the exact same amount of work - There is no PTO or benefits whatsoever when they pay you hourly (which is how they pay most of their employees) - It's nearly impossible to get any type of raise or promotion when all the work you are doing is for a separate company and no one at Take2 can speak to your performance - I literally know no one at Take2 besides my recruiter. I have no contact with my manager, I have absolutely no idea who he is tbh. This doesn't bother me but might be a deterrent for others TLDR: very low pay, no benefits or PTO, hard to get any type of raise
