Pros
Really amazing culture, a values based organisation, where everyone is considerate and thoughtful. It has an open seating concept which is inviting and modern. Very strong communication, especially during a time of change as a new CEO is resetting the organisation and starting a massive restructuring. Currently the expectation is 5 days a month onsite, but there is suspicion that will change. Townhalls happen quarterly for a business unit, and company wide meetings happen once a month, and they have streaming questions. They are in the process of consolidation and standardization of processes and systems, big focus on operational excellence and IT modernization.
Cons
All senior level management is in Boston area, they come onsite once a month which is good, but if you’re not there, you’re not where the action is. There is a lot of restructuring taking place, there is a lot of communication and accessibility to management for questions. Support function processes and systems are rather out of date, but more modern than other healthcare companies, but considerably behind compared to non-healthcare companies
