Pros

This was the best job I had since I started my career. Bill Watt was the most understanding boss you could ask for. Originally my team was responsible for supporting the TalentBin product. We troubleshooted any technical issues internally on the behalf of the customer. We also held live training sessions for new customers as well as ongoing accounts. Occasionally we conducted outreach to clients we hadn’t received a response from. In 2019, I began supporting a variety of different Monster offerings. Team morale was great till the end of 2019.

Cons

There were several rounds of layoffs across the company. We moved to a new office in October and unfortunately, I wasn’t allowed to work from home while they were doing construction in the Randstad office where Monster employees were being moved into. This was quite disruptive to the daily workflow. In March of 2020, COVID happened and I was one of the last employees in the office to have the opportunity to work from home. In July 2020, I was laid off. In the long run it was for the best.

Pros

Working at TalentBin has been a fantastic experience all around. Everything I was promised during my initial interview has come to fruition. These are all the things that TalentBin has returned since joining: -An openly supportive environment, where others are always willing to cover for anyone who is ill, or otherwise having trouble -Full transparency when it comes to team and company goals. -Constant interaction with leadership -Leadership is open to suggestion, receptive to individual needs, and generally on your side as an employee -Unified team goals in an extremely friendly group of overachievers -A fast-paced environment fueled by creativity and positive motivation from management -A team of incredibly intelligent people willing to learn and improve every single day. -Weekly happy hours -Team off-sites to fun places -Quick upward career mobility (example, I was hired in August and by January I was promoted) Located in San Francisco, the office is located in the financial district and near some very interesting places to go exploring if you're new to the city. I moved here from the East Coast, and it's been nothing but great pleasure to work here at TalentBin. I would recommend working here to anyone who's willing to work hard and reap the benefits of doing so.

Cons

Because we're a startup recently acquired by a larger corporation, some of our processes move a little more slowly, which can be frustrating at times, but is largely expected in this sort of scenario. However, management is working towards greasing the wheel when it comes to these sort of issues.
