Pros
Pros will be different for everyone. Personally, my top 2 are: paid benefits and professional development. Within my first year, I have witnessed 10 internal promotions. Besides upward mobility, the company's growth also provides opportunities to gain business development experience by contributing to different projects as needs arise.
Some other pros to consider: I would describe the management style for the team I am on as supported independence. 120hrs pto in the first year, also some paid holidays I haven't had at previous companies like Boxing Day, day after Thanksgiving, MLK Jr. Day, and a floating holiday.
I don't believe TalentWoo advertises this anywhere, so I'll mention here that this is a black-owned business. (if that is something you like to know when considering new employment)
I'm sorry for not sharing my title or comp. I do not want to share any identifying information due to the company's current size because I am a current employee. I will update this in the future.
Cons
Growth of company might not suit someone who is uncomfortable with change.
RPO and remote work can sometimes be isolating. However, there are optional virtual events that have helped reduce this feeling. (for me at least)
This one isn't really a con, but I feel it needs to be mentioned: be sure to look over the company's core values. They are not just corporate jargon that is used as filler on the website. The core values are actively practiced in every part of the business. Be aware this company may not be a good culture fit if the professional aspect of you is not aligned with them. Having said that, by living what they preach, the company has created a space where I am valued instead of just a line item expense on a Profit & Loss Statement that I've felt with previous employers.
