Pros

You know the owners or those close to them, you know what you signed up for

Cons

Push you away easily if you dont follow the career choice they want for you IE manager if you are just there part time for school, a lot of employee turnover, a lot of cold shoulder treatment and not much mediation

Getting written up for small accidental mistakes/misundertandings by higher ups even when operarions running smoothly which stresses employees and makes them feel job instability.

Pros

ASM was the only good part of the entire company Sick hours

Cons

This franchise used to be okay but now that the market is struggling the higher up people love to push the blame to everyone in a lower position and assume that it’s everyone else’s fault instead of asking what’s going on and looking at the whole picture. Unreasonably aggressive selling expectations for the low wage and bonuses you actually get paid out for. Charge backs for things reps really can’t control, if a customer wants to cancel their line in 1 and a half months, how are we held responsible for it when we have no idea it’s going to happen? Pressure from back office to do outreach and spend our own mileage for their stores when again, that effort does not reflect in our paychecks. Barely any room for growth so forget about becoming something more than a manager or ASM Worst of all budgeted hours for MONTHS per store location. You can do outreach and flyer for the store until the cows come home but if there’s not enough customers then the stores are only allowed a specific amount of hours per week. Even in dangerous areas they want it single staffed which is incredibly dangerous and generally not okay for someone to be forced to work the entire shift alone. With that also brings a decrease in motivation. No peers to work with to lift each other up? Gets pretty depressing and honestly not worth risking your own safety just to put a couple dollars in the owners pockets. And if you’re a manager you’re expected to be answering your phone even on your days off, there are no REAL days off and reps don’t get PTO, managers only get 1 week of PTO a year. Ridiculous.
