Pros

Generally speaking all of these opinions apply more or less to almost every employees as far as I know. - Low hierarchy and high trust for employees. At Teamit all have only one superior, which is Jussi. And people are really impersonal throughout the company. - Fast rate of response. If there is something that needs to be changed, fixed or done, it actually gets done really fast. - Opinions matter. There is actually a company wide trello board, which is linked to our slack, so anyone can make, modify, comment and see all tickets relating to company improvement. - Good colleagues. The company is heavily senior orientated and service minded due to the nature of the business. - Big company clients with small company bureaucracy. - Good salary. The salaries are on the top end of the market at Teamit.

Cons

- Low diversity. But this is not so much a company problem as it is an industry one. There simply isn't enough talent on the market who would both fit the difficult hiring requirements and increase diversity when talking about a small consultancy. - Culture I gave it 4 stars, because I think we have good culture and values, but the company is a consultancy so most people don't work at the office at all corona or no corona. All consultancies have lower level of culture inherently due to this.

Pros

- Good salary - Possible to freely choose between fixed monthly and customer billing base salary. - No bureaucracy, things get done really fast and easily. E.g. I can choose any laptop I want and it gets delivered immediately. - People are treated with trust, respect and kindness. - Nice colleagues. Parties four times a year, for each season 😀

Cons

Can’t really think of any.

Pros

Salary and employee benefits are competitive.

Cons

Senior management is incompetent and still trying to learn how to run a software consultancy. The managers are focused chiefly on selling new projects,s and some key positions are missing altogether; for example, there is no dedicated HR department to take care of employee relations and their well-being in general. The company also doesn't seem to believe in investing in building long-lasting careers that support employee personal growth and can treat you quite ruthlessly if everything does not go as planned. For example, my job at Teamit ended when I was fired without reason on probation after I developed some severe health issues and was forced to take a couple of weeks of sick leave.
