Management is too occupied with politics game after the acquisition instead of emphasizing on business development. Tech Data used to adopt liberal culture. However, the culture reverted to a more localized and micromanaging style after change of country manager. The merging of two entities in Tech Data takes place very slowly, aggravating the conflicts between staffs and negatively impacts the overall performance of company. Diversity and Inclusion are two of your core values, yet ironically one of the entities in TD is progressively being ostracized and sidetracked. Current company culture tends to suppress innovative ideas and information sharing. Many things are still done manually without leveraging on systematic methods and power of IT. Not recommended to join unless there is major change of management team or management style.
