Pros
-Hands-on experience on many safety studies, hence a good starting point if one wants to make his/her career in Process Safety -Exposure to client communication/handling -Co-workers are friendly/supportive
Cons
The cons outweigh the pros by heaps and bounds and are umpteen. Some of which are listed below:- 1. Half of the upper management is incompetent 2. Overall, a highly negative atmosphere 3. More often than not, salaries are not credited on time 4. Confusing leave policies 5. Exit formalities are mentally harassing (management resorts to using legal language even after employee has served full notice) -In addition to above point, no guarantee of experience letter, last month's salary & full and final settlement even after full notice period is served. Only a handful number of employees have managed to leave peacefully. Also, there is a chance of management ordering an employee to wait for 3-4 months more after serving his/her notice period. 6. New college graduates (and apparently even the experienced ones) are forced to sign bonds which usually have unrealistic penalties (higher than his/her CTC). - In addition to above point, zero time is given to read the clauses of the bond 7. Policies can be changed as per mood (management can make Saturdays working out of the blue giving absolutely zero compensation)
