To be able to contribute you will need to understand how networking works, how virtual machines work, as well as basic programming and scripting skills, so it will teach you a lot in the beginning If you need time off you can always schedule it.
Cons
The colleagues are mostly all from 5-10+ years in the company, Noone is passionate about what they are doing and they are not communicative at all. There is no team spirit whatsoever. The boss is an angry man, but if you do your job properly you won't have problems with him. You will hear him yell at others on a daily basis though.
