Pros

The only pro is the decent pay

Cons

I could go on and on about the cons. One big one is you have no life when you get stuck doing overtime, definitely would not recommend this job to anyone with kids or who wants to have a life. You get told last minute if you are working overtime. Yes you know a few days ahead if your working Saturday and Sunday but as far as during the week they let you know in the morning if it is 8 or 10. You will also sweat your butt off during the warmer months because the company is a load of cheap skates who won't get AC because that means less pay for them You get 2 louzy breaks during a 10 hour shift and 1 during 8 hours which is towards the end of your shift which is ridiculous . Supervisors of course have favorites just like every other company

Pros

Good pay , good benefits

Cons

This Tenneco is not like the other TENNECO’s around the world, this particular place can’t keep a plant manager for longer than 1-2 years, because their entire management is completely corrupt and back stabbing people, they constantly are changing upper management positions around to find unqualified and unsuccessful ways to try and make things better ?? This is a joke , they back stab their employees that are not a part of their group of corrupt people, the management makes up their own policies and completely ignore the corporate policies ?? One manager will always give more power to an employee they love, and others will throw the book at them when that manager doesn’t like the employee? These managers are a complete failure to the company and all need to be fired and new managers should take over, also this company is so dirty and disgusting, the CEO of Tenneco should come see this horrible particular facility and take action against the corrupt people
