Pros
- Irrespective of the kind of work done (B2B and Enterprise), the company doesn't have much of corporate culture - People work in startup mode (Flexible hours / Jean&Tshirts / No Red Tape / Flat Hierarchy) - Office is beautiful. Not too cubicle-ish, not too lazy friendly - You get to work with people with brains. I haven't found a single person yet who is trying to sweet talk his way to the top. Only performers are valued. No matter who he/she is, what experience he/she holds - People without brains are swiftly identified and course corrected. (as deemed suitable). Such decisions are taken collectively by the team working with the person as opposed to HR or Management.
Cons
- As any other startup, some times lack of processes imbalances work output. - Sometimes it becomes tough to identify the weak chain and take stronger action since the startup values people relations more than work output. It bites back sometimes - Team Leads sometimes do things over zealously. So sometimes we wind up making more features than we actually need at that stage
