Pros

- the employees were great - laid back - Didnt have to dress up for work like most places - always had new state of the art equipment

Cons

- Management - no proper training - very cliquey - no one wants to do their job and pushes it off on everyone else - the CEO would fire people for no reason

Pros

- Opportunities for advancement for positive people with a growth mindset - Employee portal with many resources to assist with life/work challenges - The people are incredibly supportive (it's rare you attend a birthday party and another TestOil person isn't there) - Management wants everyone to grow and prefer to hire from the inside - Employees are often encouraged to take an entrepreneurial approach, i.e. see an issue, take responsibility to own and fix the issue

Cons

- Very entrepreneurial which is not a good fit for many people (they expect people to take initiative) - Pay to start out can be on the low side, but once trust is gained and you show that you have ambition and take the company values to heart the pay can quickly increase (in as little as 6 months) - People that don't get promoted when they feel they should (or before others) will often become jaded
