Pros

TRLA has a union, and it is helpful. The union fights for better working conditions and pay. Work here is meaningful and fulfilling.

Cons

Layoffs every few months, forced RTO even though work is 100% capable of being done from home. Poor communication from leadership and lots of doom-and-gloom over funding issues. Overworked, underpaid, and stretched thin. Changes in certain job activities to improve the appearance of "efficiency." No opportunity to move upwards unless you are an attorney and willing to give up union protections.
