Pros

I loved working with the TAG group for its interesting services and outreach As well, the working environment was one of the best

Cons

I wish I can spend more time in my internship, but sure I can show my support in different ways The working team seemed regularly busy, so we had only time to do business

Pros

Good hands on experience. Allows for interns to understand what their job will look like entering politics. Get to work for progressive candidates. The management is also super friendly and nice. It’s a really good first step if you’re very passionate and want to enter politics.

Cons

Unpaid. If you do remote it’s not as valuable due to lack of networking opportunities. I suppose if you work very hard you could get a good reference maybe. However it’s so hard to connect with anyone given how it’s structured therefore it’s unlikely. You really don’t interact with anyone day by day. This can be good for some people but if you’re trying to network and build connections it’s not so great. There’s also not a lot of diversity in what you do. Most of its policy analysis and research. They also don’t let you in on what their strategy or angle is.
